The 1990s marked a turning point in the world of innovation and creativity. At this time, the need for a more flexible, more vibrant and above all, more durable image format arose. The PNG format was born!
But it was also in 1994 that the world found out that the image of the Loch Ness monster was a fake... Our graphic designers were exposed!
Unusual coincidence, it was also in 1994, when the PNG format and Penega were born that Jeff Bezos launched Amazon. We started the race alongside him, but our paths diverged when he decided to go to Mars and us, not to lose sight of the North!
In 1994, Hollywood also offered us to contribute to the shooting of Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction, but our designers were busy immortalizing on paper the wedding of Celine Dion and René Angélil. We took a rain check!
The effervescence is therefore what best characterizes the 1990s. It was the same in the world of communications and marketing. And it is in this bubbling context that Penega was born, the same year as the .PNG, from which the agency takes its name!
